Description
This 4mm. scale GWR “City Class” 4-4-0 tender locomotive fleet number 3440 “City of Truro” in pre-1906 (1900 Variant) livery is built from the Nu-Cast kit (ref. 265). The locomotive has been bench tested and is in working order, although a post-sale service is reccomended. The paintwork is very fine and in new/little-used condition. The wheels are cast with insulated brass tyres to the driving wheels. Power pick-up also from tender wheelsets, which are compensated. Locomotive buffers are sprung, and tender screw coupling is sprung. Cab backhead is detailed, the tender has real coal, and there is a brass wire hoop coupling to the tender buffer beam. Original kit box and outer sleeve provide storage/transport. History/Build notes present in box.
