This 7mm. finescale BR Standard Class 7 tender engine 70048 “The Territorial Army 1908-1958” in the brunswick green livery with late crest is built from the DJH kit with the straight-sided tender BR 1D fitted with coal pusher, & is believed painted by Alan Brackenborough. It has been re-engineered by Bob Merry (Footplate Models) & is now powered by ABC Gearbox/Canon Motor fitted to the centre driving axle. Both leading & trailing pony trucks are now fitted with both vertical & lateral springing & there is power collection form both engine & tender. Most recently, the locomotive has been fitted with correct pattern axle boxes to the trailing pony truck. The wheels are Slater’s. Excellent cab detail & with coal to the tender.
