This 7mm. scale BR(E) Class D32 4-4-0 tender engine number 62451 in immediately post-nationalisation condition was built & painted by Peter Callon from the Connoisseur Models Claymore kit. It is running on Slater’s wheels & is powered by a Connoisseur Models Mashima 1833 motor & 40/1 gearset. The locomotive has power collection from both engine & tender. It has non working inside valve gear, crew, glazing, coal to tender, fallplate, backhead & sprung buffers. The prototype was the only D32 to carry a BR number and stayed in service until 1951.
