This 7mm. finescale BR(W) Class 2-8-0T engine number 4235 in weathered plain black livery with early emblem was built by Peter Roles (plate on underside), probably from the JM Models kit. It is fitted with a decoder, but this has not been tested for operational purposes. It is riding on Slater’s wheels driven by an ABC gearbox. The motor has a flywheel fitted. The cab roof is detachable to reveal an excellent backhead. The locomotive has been through our workshop & is in very good working order & condition.
