Description
This Gauge 1 Deutsche Bundesbahn Diesel Locomotive BR V 100 2027 was released by Marklin (cat. ref. 55728). Prototypically, delivery of 364 locomotive to DB commenced in 1958. The locomotive was superceded by the V 10020 series fitted with a more powerful motor. The model is DCC operated (Marklin separately supply power and control equipment). It has been bench tested – directional lighting is fitted. Buffers and claw couplers are sprung. A baseplate is supplied to which the locomotive can be screwed for transport purposes – locomotive and baseplate will fit into the inner packing of the outer box. In addition, a wooden cradle is supplied for storage/transport purposed. There is a a detailed operational manual.
