Description
This Gauge 1 LNER (Ex.NER) 50ft. Suburban 3rd. Class Brake carriage in matt brown livery is without transfers. The carriage is in good running order with Gresley compensated brass bogies, and metal-tyred disc wheelsets. Buffers and couplings are sprung. The body and roof are aluminum, with the roof not well fitted to the carriage end panels but secured in place by screwed brackets. The plastic glazing requires a little attention, whilst the interior has compartments fitted with red bench seating. There is interior lighting but the cabling will require testing/repacement along with the battery pack. Lighting master switch is floor mounted close to one carriage end. The floor trusses and one bogie end tie will require some repair/replacement.
