This Gauge One LNER (Ex. NER) 50ft. Suburban 3rd. Class Carriage in satin finished brown livery with matt black roof and ends has no fleet number transfer identification. The previously owned.vehicle is in running order with compensated Gresley bogies fitted with metal-tyred disc wheelsets. The brass buffers and and 3 link couplings are sprung. The body is aluminium fitted with separate rolled aluminium roof and timber floor. It is fitted with interior lighting and cabling terminating in underfloor mounted connector (no battery holder). It has brass trusses and little underfloor detailing, most of which has received running damage The plastic glazied interior has ply partitions and painted covered bench seating. The carriage has suffered some running damage. It has a hand painted number 4 on the underside denoting it’s running position in the carriage rake.
