Description
This Gauge 1 LNER (Ex.NER) Suburban 3rd. Class carriage in matt brown livery has no transfers applied. The carriage is in good running order with metal-tyred disc wheelsets mounted in brass compensated frames with cast Gresley overlays. The buffers and couplings are sprung. The body has aluminium sides with beading overlays and cast ends. The rolled aluminium roof is not well fitted but is secured in place by screwed brackets. The interior has plywood partitions with red bench seating. There are two passenger figures, and there is interior lighting with on/off switch mounted on underside, but no battery pack. Hand painted figure 5 on underside denoting position in carriage set. Boxed.
