This 7mm. finescale GNR Class N2 0-6-2T engine number 1607 represents one of the Gresley batch built at Doncaster during 1920-21 with superheating. The locomotive has beam compensation to the leading two driving axles & the trailing pony truck has both lateral & vertical springing. The engine is powered by Portescap motor/gearbox driving Slater’s wheels. This etched brass locomotive is believed painted by Steve Barnfield. Some refurbishment by Adrian Prescott.
