This 7mm. finescale GWR “Dukedog” 4-4-0 tender engine number 3217 “Earl of Berkeley” in Post-1934 livery was hand built & painted by A J Fabbrini in 1974 (stamped on underside). This high specification locomotive is running on cast wheels. The riding height of the driving axles is adjustable & the centre axle to the tender is compensated & sprung. The buffers are sprung (including those between the engine & tender). The pony truck has vertical & lateral springing. The cab is beautifully detailed with hinged fallplate, individually planked floor, adjustable regulator, fire box door & reverser, the water level sightglass has glass & the brass dials are superbly detailed. The tender has real coal & the water tank filler top is hinged. Power collection is from driving wheels & the rear wheels of the pony truck. The engine is in good running order & excellent condition with superb painting.
