This 7mm. finescale 10T. 7-Plank Open Mineral Wagon fleet number 1 in the black livery of the “Neasden Great Central Railway Employe’s Coal Club” was built & painted by John Jarvis from the Slater’s kit (plate on underside). Prototypically, the wagon was built in 1900 by the Gloucester Railway Carriage & Wagon Works Co. Ltd. The model is in very good running order and is in as-built condition. The buffers and couplings are sprung. The model is weighted, and there is a real coal load, which can be easily removed as required.
