This “O” gauge finescale fitted BR(S) (Ex.LSWR) 26ft. 6-wheel Guards/Goods/Drovers Brake Van running number S54962 in weathered brown livery was scratchbuilt & painted by Peter Callon. It is in very good running order with “Haywood Railway” spoked wheelsets and “Connoisseur” sprung compensation units. It is in new condition with “SideLines” vacuum pipes, sprung screw couplings, buffers and ABS/NMRS underframe parts. The prototype for this vehicle was a “one off” built in 1906 intended for use on cattle trains. Subsequently, for many years, it worked on the Callington branch in Cornwall. After nationalisation, it was used on the Seaton branch until withdrawal in 1959.
