7mm. finescale Refurbished English Electric Type 4 Co-Co Class 50 “Sir Edward Elgar” fleet number 50.007 in Brunswick Green livery built and painted by Graham Varley from the MMI kit. The prototype locomotive was re-named by Simon Rattle on 25 February 1984 at Paddington Station to celebrate the 50th. anniversary of the death of the composer. The model built by Graham early in 2020 has Peartree Engineering wheelsets chaindriven by two ABC “DBG” gearboxes powered by Canon motors.
