This 7mm. finescale dual vacuum and Westinghouse brake fitted GWR Dia. 0.7 18T. 40ft. “Siphon F” Milk Van fleet number 1543 in circa 1923 livery was built and painted by Janick Models (plate on underside) from the D.J.B. Engineering etched brass kit. The model is riding on 9ft. American type bogies and Mansell metal-tyred wheelsets. The etched brass bogies are compensated, which give an excellent ride. The condition of the model is generally very good – one of the brake hoses has been replaced at one end, and of the four etched lamp brackets (one mounted at each corner) two have suffered a little damage. The paintwork is generally very good with only one small paint repair to the roof. The buffers and couplings are sprung.
