Description

This “OO” gauge finescale BR(M) (Ex.LMS Period III) Porthole Stock Corridor Third carriage running number M6809M in carmine & cream livery was built and painted by John Fozard and retained for his own collection (South Yorkshireman Set). It is believed the etched brass body is from Comet Models built on a “Mainline” chassis retaining the Mainline couplings on the bogies. Finescale disc wheelsets are incorporated and the “Mainline” weight is retained. The glazed body has partitions but no seating. The flexible corridor gangways have etched brass doors fitted on the outer ends.
