This “OO” finescale BR(M) (Ex.LMS Period III) Porthole Stock Corridor Brake Third carriage running number M 26885 M in carmine & cream livery was built & painted by John Fozard from the Comet Models etched brass kit. The carriage is in very good running order with finescale brass disc wheelsets fitted to the Comet etched brass bogies. There is a “Mainline” type hook & bar coupling fitted to the outer end of the inner bogie whilst there is an automatic specialist coupling fitted to the outer end of the carriage with a brass wire coupling bar fitted between the buffers at this end. The flexible corridor gangways have card outer faces. The glazed interior currently has no partitions or seating but the roof is not fixed down, being fitted ready to be secured in place once partitions, seating/passengers of choice are in place. This carriage is from John Fozard’s personal collection being part of “The South Yorkshireman” Set
