Description
This 7mm. scale 3 car set of Ex LBSCR “elevated electric” coaches finished in LBSCR Umber lvery originally built in the 1980s by Eddie Bye was supplied by Terry Smith to Peter Callon for refurbishment of the three coaches, and additional construction of overhead electrical equipment, chassis and underframes including the assembly and painting to bogies. “Kadee” couplings have been fitted along with commode handles. After cleaning, two coats of clear varnish were applied to the coach sides, and the roofs were repaired where necessary, cleaned up and repainted.
Driving/Third carriage r/n 3259 fitted with “Bow-Collector” has a new powered bogie. There are two Driving/Composite carriages fleet numbers 4056 & 4061. The three carriages are housed in a varnished storage box.
