Description
This 7mm. scale BR(S) Class S15 4-6-0 tender locomotive fleet number 30842 in heavily weathered late crest black livery was built by R Scanlon from etched brass kit. The model is fitted with Slater’s wheelsets and powered by coreless motor mounted on Chaplin gearbox. The locomotive is free running, has power collection from tender and is fitted with unique “YouChoos” DCC Sound Decoder (Zimo MS450 8-Pin on Harness) supported by certificate and operating manual matched to LSWR S15 Urie Maunsell YC-215 and speaker SPK-LUBE7. The cab is glazed, has excellent boiler backhead detailing, two good quality painted crew figures, hinged cab doors and well detailed tender. Buffers and couplings are sprung. Substantial cardboard box for storage/transport purposes.
