Description
This live steam 1/32nd. scale 45mm. gauge GWR(Ex.M&SWJR) 2-6-0 tender locomotive fleet number 24 was built by Martin Sheridan. The coal fired locomotive has had one previous owner and has been steamed. The prototype locomotive fleet number 16 was built for the Midland & South Western Junction Railway by Beyer Peacock in 1896. Under Groupng, the locomotive was acquired by the GWR, re-built at Swindon in 1925, and withdrawn from service in 1930.
The model locomotive has a set of coal firing parts and tools. It is believed the locomotive has operated until quite recently and is in good steaming order. The model now needs a little attention to some detailing and paintwork.
