Description
This 16mm. scale 32mm. gauge GWR (Ex W&L Brake Van) fleet number 8759 in weathered dark grey livery is scratch-built. The model is fitted with chopper couplings and chains, and has beam compensation fitted to one side of the chassis frame. The vehicle has working sliding doors (marked “3 of 7”) to the guards platform, which has glazed viewing panels. The rear facing panels are also glazed. There is a painted guard figure with red warning flag in one hand standing to the rear of the brake column. There are a number of small freight boxes and tied newspapers in the van to the rear of the guard.
