Description
This 7mm. scale BR(ExLNER/GER) Class F6 2-4-2T fleet number 67236 in weathered black livery with early crest is thought to have been built and finished by D. Kenton. The model is in running order and previously owned condition. Powered by coreless motor/gearbox driving cast wheelsets. The front/rear brass pony trucks have wire side springing/restraints and are used as part of the power supply system to the motor. The buffers and screw couplings are sprung. Originally fitted with Westinghouse brake only, vacuum ejectors being added in 1927 in readiness for hauling the Quad-Art suburban stock. The model has full cab glazing including side windows. The brass cab floor has representative boarded floor grooving, the boiler backhead detailing is excellent, and there are two crew figures. Generally, the locomotive has a high level of detailing including excellently detailed brake gear, brake pipework and other braking equipment, machined connecting rods, and footsteps.
