Description
This 7mm. scale Early Furness Railway Horsebox fleet number 7 in Prussian Blue livery, Gold lettering with white shading is built from an etched brass kit. The model is in free running little-used condition having been mostly on display. The 3′ 1″ wheels are split spoked and one of the wheelset cradles is compensated. The buffers have vertically mounted wire springs secured above the brass floor, and the couplings are joined by longitudinal rod with coiled spring. Only one wheel has brake block fitted and operated by lever. The two dog boxes are ventilated and the groom’s compartment has glazing, high backed bench seat, and internal partition.
