Description
This 7mm. scale GWR Class 7400 Pannier Tank Locomotive fleet number 7411 in black livery was released by Lionheart Trains. The locomotive has had one previous owner but is in excellent little used condition. The model is wired for DCC operation and fitted with a dummy 8-pin plug. Subsequently, a Zimo MX645R Sound Decoder has been fitted (Decoder is complete with information leaflets). The leading two axles are beam compensated. Buffers and screw couplings are sprung. The bunker has real coal whilst the cab is glazed, has a floor, and is fitted with a well detailed boiler backhead. This is a well-built substantial locomotive suitable for branchline passenger, freight and milk traffic workings. The original locomotives were also used for station pilot and shunting duties. The 7400 class was built in 1936. The model has a quality outer box, which is in good condition, and good polystyrene inner box with lid. There are leaflets for fitting the decoder, prototypical information, and removing the locomotive from the inner packing box.
