Description
This 7mm. scale Midland Railway D.401 Horsebox fleet number 175 in full livery with gold and black lining was built from the MSE etched brass kit and painted by Phil Coutanche. The model is in very good little-used condition being mainly for display purposes. The wheels are Mansell type and one wheelset has a compensated brass cradle. The buffers and carriage couplings have springing comprising both cross vehicle wire and longitudinal bar with coil spring. The glazed groom compartment has bench seat and flooring finished in different materials.
