Description
This 7mm. finescale GWR Reading Engineers Train comprising Signal Department and Permanent Way kit-built Stock all in very good running order & little-used high detail condition is as described below:
- Signal Dept. Dia. CC1 Iron Signal Van running number 14995 in weathered grey livery built from the WEP Models etched brass kit. Metal-tyred spoked wheelsets with one axle compensated. Buffers and couplings are sprung. Rooflights and windows are glazed.
- Signal Dept. Dia. T10 Signal Post wagon running number 14425 in weathered grey livery built from the WEP Models etched brass kit. Metal-tyred spoked wheelsets with one axle compensated. Buffers and couplings are sprung. Good range of tools, ladders, posts, cable and materials.
- 8 Ton Permanent Way Construction Steel Open wagon running number 60354 in lightly weathered grey livery built from a plastic kit. Metal-tyred spoked wheelsets with one axle compensated. Buffers and couplings sprung. Ballast load. Extra weight added to underside.
- Construction Permanent Way Brake Van number 40353 in lightly weathered matt black livery built from a plastic kit. Metal-tyred spoked wheelsets with one axle compensated. Buffers are sprung, whilst the couplings are un-sprung. Windows are glazed and lamps are fixed.
All stock is branded “Return to Reading” – interestingly, the Signal Post wagon is branded ” Return empty to Reading”.
