Description
This 7mm. scale BR(Ex.LSWR) SR Dia. 863 44ft. Bogie Full Brake fleet number S1021 in weathered crimson lake livery is built & painted by Peter Callon from the “Roxey Mouldings” etched brass kit (ref. 7C5) supplied by Terry Smith. “Sidelines” screw couplings have been used. The prototypes were built during the period 1893-1902, the last mainland vehicle was scrapped in 1938, whilst the nine transferred to the Isle of Wight remained in service until the 1950s, vehicle fleet number S1021 was the last in service being withdrawn in 1956. The Roxey Mouldings kit box is used for storage/transporting the completed vehicle.
